Love her hair, she's really beautiful! I think the shadows on her face need a bit more contrast, her face looks a bit flat....but like all your work, stunning!Thank you Jessica! Yeah you might be right about the shadow, but at that time I thought it was finished.

The face and upper body appear to be very accurate in the proportions. The only thing that I can see that's just a little off is her inner thighs. They need to be just a little wider to fill those gaps between them and the bikini bottom you've got on her. Not trying to be too critical, I'm just use to giving an honest opinion as an art critic as well as an artist myself.I appreciate honest opinions very much, Steven. They bring an artist much further than all the ahhs and ohhs. But what you call a bikini bottom is actually a Venus belt, so it isnt a bottom at all. Nevertheless I agree with you that her inner thighs as well as her arms are a bit too thin. Great to see you here Steven, thank you for stopping by!

I'm glad that I could give you some constructive critiquing. But I was unaware of this Venus belt. I remember in school a long time ago that Venus was the Roman version of Aphrodite. Is this belt something you made up or is it based in ancient culture? The form of the belt I made up, but there is a magic belt. you can find it here.

First of all, the background is very good, especially the water. If I was to offer constructive criticism it would be about the breasts. Of course there is not one stereotypical 'perfect' type but the right one does look a little bit larger than the left or perhaps they are a little close together, I'm not entirely sure.
However, congratulations on getting the arms the perfect length for the body...v. hard! Keep it up.Thank you for the comment, Gemila. The breasts might look maybe a bit strange because you see her body a bit en profile, because she has turned a bit to the left for the viewer. That is, how it was meant to be. I think maybe the shading isn't really correct.

I've got an Aphrodite in my gallery, too. (= Yay for artists who like Aphrodite. I'm kind of bothered by the way the water falls from her "bikini bottom" (for lack of a better word) very regularly, instead of collecting into one or two streams. Her figure is beautiful, btw, but the suddenness of the... bikini bottom (again, for lack of a better word) seems to throw off the composition. It would look better if you did her totally nude or if she were covered with a more fluid cloth. Great work, though. Keep it up!Hello Jennifer, thank you for visiting my Aphrodite. I agree this is very good. But some of her is more detailed than other parts, when it seems like you are going for photorealism. I think her breasts are also a little off. The shadows don't seem right on them. It could be an awkward angle, but I think that could be corrected. Still, very nice. She is quite lovely.

I don't know much about mythology and all that kind of stuff. What I surely know it that you are "a goddess in the ways of art"! OK, I'm exagerating a bit here, but still its pretty awsome, aye!!!
